Katie is a passionate teacher who is friendly and supportive. Lessons that I have observed have contained valuable learning opportunities, technical and musical instructions, openness for discussions and question and answer times, and always conducted in good humour and with understanding of the pupil's individual circumstances. Punctuality is good and communications timely and appropriate. She has taught students from beginner level and up to Grade 8 and beyond.

Katie is a dedicated and committed music teacher. She has a really positive rapport with her students, adapting her teaching style to accommodate and support students with varying needs, including special educational needs. She communicates effectively with parents, and works positively with colleagues. She is friendly, caring and conscientious, and well liked by her students.
