Julia is a professional viola player, living in Brighton, with a busy freelance career with some of London and the UK's leading orchestras.
She holds a Master's Degree from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia and is qualified as a performer as well as a teacher.
Having established her performing career over the past 10 years since moving to the UK, she is now starting a teaching career alongside it.
Julia is very enthusiastic, personable and ambitious - both for herself as well as her students, and very keen to inspire pupils through music and pass on her passion for ensemble and orchestral playing.
The lessons are tailored to each student's needs and desires, with a very flexible approach and can be offered both in English or French.
