Depending on your goals, Jules can tailor your lessons to include a mixture of:
- Vocal technique to develop your range, power and tone.
- Musical interpretation and expression.
- Performance skills including dealing with nerves.
- Develop your unique sound and personal style.
- Musicality, theory, sight-reading, ear training
- Breath and bodywork for an efficient and healthy sound

What to expect from vocal coaching with Jules
Every singing lesson with Jules is unique and tailored to your dreams and needs as a singer. Typical lessons last 55 minutes and take place on Zoom. With your permission, your lessons are recorded and sent to you so that you can go over things again, sing along with exercises (rather than having to remember them!), and gleam fresh new insights in your own practise time.

Your first lesson: Jules starts with a full vocal assessment (a bit like going to a physio) to check the health of your voice and to start building a bespoke plan for your singing lessons. Her approach aims gets to the root of an issue fast, saving you time and money on lessons in the long run.

Here's a little more information about areas you can cover. Please just get in touch if you have questions.

Musicality for Singers
Jules teaches musicality for singers, helping to develop skills most instrumentalists take for granted. This will support you when singing in ensemble and advance your song writing. Musicality can be taken as lessons in their own right or as part of your regular vocal coaching.
- Reading musical notation, chord charts and lead sheets
- Music theory and ear training
- Singing in harmony for choral singing or BVs in a band
- Working with instrumentalists on stage and in the studio
