I highly recommend Joe. My primary school daughter loved her summer violin lessons with him. He is a creative, thoughtful instructor who always came prepared. He worked with my daughter’s interests and strengths to get the best from her. Although his focus was violin technique, Joe also taught her music reading and ear training. He made lessons fun but never wasted time. He’s also an exceptional musician himself, and I enjoyed listening to him play piano accompaniment or, occasionally, demonstrate something on the violin!

Joseph forgot our lesson, we were waiting online. I asked for a refund, Joseph claimed we cancelled within 24hrs so no refund allowed - but we didn't cancel - Joseph didn't turn up.

I have seen Joe work in many different contexts. He is absolutely remarkable in his ability to engage whole-heartedly with a huge range of people – from mainstream primary, through secondary, SEND, University students and people living with dementias. He has exceptional musical ability which, combined with his empathy, ability to read a room, toolbox of methods, and complete dedication to the job he is doing, makes him an invaluable teacher.
