About Jo
Music changes lives, transports us to new places, and gives shape to our inner voice. Whether you've always wanted to play an instrument, need some top notch tutelage for your budding prodigy, or dream of writing symphonies, let's work together to unlock your musical potential!
Unfortunately Jo is currently unable to offer lessons outside of Godalming and Guildford. She does not offer lessons at her home but is very happy to come to your house!
Jo's teaching practice aims to ignite a lifelong passion for violin, piano, theory, production, or composition. Whatever your goal, let's work together to achieve it. By fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment, Jo guides students into becoming outstanding musicians. Jo loves encouraging people to have fun playing their instrument and learning about theory/composition.
Jo is an established film composer with 40 film score credits and a full member of BAFTA, so is especially well placed to help anyone interested in film composition.
Lessons will be tailor-made to cater to your individual learning styles, helping you develop technique, knowledge and skills alongside a deep appreciation for music's emotional resonance. Whatever your musical goals, we will work together to achieve them.
