About Jessica T.
Originally from the UK, Jessica is a passionate violinist, currently completing an MSc in Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University. She holds a BA (First Class Hons) in Music from the University of York and a Distinction in Grade 8 Violin (2015).Jessica grew up in a musical family, surrounded by string players. Jessica is an avid chamber musician and session musician, believing violin can be utilised for so many gorgeous blends and genres.
Jessica has been teaching violin for many years. Her aim is to inspire and ignite passion amongst young musicians. She welcomes applications for violin and viola lessons from all ages and abilities in Edinburgh. In lessons, you can expect to focus on technique, musicality, posture and varied repertoire. Jessica hopes to give her students so much more than music lessons: she is passionate about fostering potential, building confidence and inspiring them to reach whatever goals imaginable. Jessica cares deeply about all her students and truly sees music teaching as a privilege.
