James is a wonderful teacher. He has a lovely calm nature and is incredibly passionate about music which is clear in his teaching methods, which he conducts in a professional way, but still keeps the lessons interesting and varied. He has managed to help my daughter gain only distinctions in her grade examinations! I highly recommend James in both recorder practical and music theory.
