About Jake
Jake is an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with a deep passion for music. He is fortunate to be involved in two original projects, Bare Jams and Dogbowl Productions, which have allowed him to tour the globe with some of the best up-and-coming players the UK has to offer, performing at amazing festivals and venues on a regular basis.
These projects have facilitated the exploration of numerous genres, including Pop, Grime, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Afrobeat, Drum & Bass, Garage, and more. This has also opened the door to the exploration of sounds through FX pedals, which he finds incredibly enjoyable.
Jake holds a Trinity Guildhall Jazz Grade 8, ABRSM Grade 8 (with distinction), ABRSM Performance Diploma, ABRSM Grade 5 Theory, and a BSc in Music Technology. He strongly believes that having a basic understanding of music technology is essential for musicians, as it plays a significant role in live performances and recording sessions.
