About Jacob
Jacob loves to use practical hands on approach to teaching, where he looks to develop real-world applicable drum skills. He think it's important to focus on developing skills that will allow drummers to play with other musicians effectively.
Jacob aims to provide drummers with a solid technical foundation, through developing effective and safe hand technique, as well as bringing in technical exercises to develop great technique around the drum set, such as rudimental practice.
Jacob will also bring in grade books (if the student is interested) as he feels these provide a great backbone for out-of-lesson practice, as well as further developing key techniques.
- Jacob is well equipped to teach a range of genres and styles, especially rock and jazz.
- Lessons will be either 30 minutes or 1 hour.
- He has teaching experience from ages 4-30, in both drumming and outside of drumming.
