I am a classically-trained trumpet and keyboard player, songwriter, composer and producer with over twenty years experience of teaching in Higher Education and a successful career as an international touring and recording artist. I have written, produced and mixed numerous albums for acclaimed international artists and was musical director for Sister Sledge for 15 years and the Brooklyn Funk Essentials for over 20 years. I specialise in many forms of music including jazz, pop, funk, fusion and world music. I am currently a Tutor in the Music Technology department at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and have also taught at other music institutes (InHolland University, ACM & BIMM) at higher and further education level.

I am passionate about music education and thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with students and watching them progress in their studies.
