About Isidora Bouziouri
Singing is a human right! Just come over and sing!
Tο see if my practice suits you is to message me to arrange a free trial. My fees here are based on the union rates but I happily offer affordable fees to fellow musicians, students, unemployed or any fellow depending on their circumstances or the regularity they wish to practice.
A few words about me and my practice:
I've been to some thrilling, life-changing places through my vocal journey and I couldn't be more excited to guide and witness your very own journey in finding your most true voice and in building a strong, versatile singing technique. How on earth would you communicate the things your words are not enough to say if it wasn't for singing? Singing should be classified as a human right since it is as healing as laughing or crying.
I am a fairly accomplished vocalist, trained in Greece, New York, and Scotland in a variety of techniques and methods. I have been teaching for over ten years now and I am based in central Edinburgh, where I teach in my ambient studio.
What to expect:
-A safe, open-minded space and an approach that never fails to stay positive and beneficial regardless of your level of experience or repertoire and adaptive to your needs and your condition at a time.
-My practice works best in person at my studio or at your place. Online is offered to regular students who cannot occasionally attend in person or potentially to more experienced vocalists.
-I offer 60' and 90' sessions as it is crucial to build a state of relaxed awareness and creative mindfulness before singing. If you are coming over, you are welcome to arrive earlier to change, focus, relax or stretch before your session; this is free but make sure you let me know.
-To give yourself the best chance, please wear clothes you feel comfortable moving, refrain from smoking for about 30'-60' beforehand and hydrate.
