About Isaac Savage

UNFORTUNATELY, ISAAC IS FULLY-BOOKED AT THE MOMENT AND WILL NOT BE TAKING ON FURTHER STUDENTS UNTIL SPRING 2026.

Isaac (he/him) is a passionate and enthusiastic educator with over 10 years teaching experience, as well as working as a professional actor-musician, composer and musical director across all areas of the UK. His approach to music tuition is focused and flexible, adapting his teaching style to suit each individual student and honing in on the areas and genres of music they'd specifically like to work on, using the terminology and vocabulary that they find the most beneficial and constructive to their musical training.

Isaac is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he now works as a musical theatre lecturer and musical director. He is also an award-winning actor-musician and composer, whose work has appeared both in the West End and Off-Broadway.

Based in
Glasgow, and also teaches online.

Approach to Teaching
Isaac’s lessons are enjoyable, accessible and rewarding, and his level of experience allows him to teach a large range of styles, genres, ages and abilities across his musical disciplines. He has frequently used exam syllabuses such as ABRSM, Trinity and Rock School and has a 100% pass rate (many of which achieved distinction), but also enjoys working with students whose tuition is for pleasure alone and isn't necessarily exam-focused. He is highly regarded and well-liked among peers and students, with his enthusiasm and excitement for the subject playing a key part in any student’s musical journey.
