Irina is an excellent teacher! An outstanding pianist herself, she puts great thought into her teaching, focusing on all aspects of teaching: technique, musical expression and understanding of style and the composers’ intentions. She is kind, very professional, and has inspired my two sons from the very start. She teaches them sight reading, improvisation, duets, gives them a comprehension of theory, and their playing is very beautiful indeed.

Irina is a brilliant pianist, coming from the great piano tradition in Tbilisi, Georgia. But equally importantly she is personally sympathetic and puts a great deal of thought and time into her teaching, which she does to the highest level at all ability levels.
