Indira is a piano teacher with over three years experience in teaching children and adults in piano theory and performance from stages beginner to advanced. She has a first-class honours degree in music, two piano diplomas, and has performed regularly as a pianist and accompanist throughout her musical career.

Indira is well-versed in teaching Classical piano and is able to prepare pupils for ABRSM and Trinity grade examinations. However, she understands that grades are not the goal for every student, so in these cases, she is able to focus on teaching the piano for general musicality development. Indira is personable, friendly, and enthusiastic, and seeks to put students at ease so they can enjoy and get the most out of their lessons.

Indira's approaches to piano teaching are creative and engaging, and she always seeks to develop individualised lesson plans to help students achieve their best possible outcomes. Indira supports students' musical development by teaching piano technique, scales, theory, and sight reading for a holistic understanding of the piano.

Indira also has a years' experience of teaching lessons via Zoom, with an effective and engaging set-up that has allowed for students learning to continue online if necessary. Indira is available to work as an accompanist if requested.

Indira is available for home visit lessons in South London or online lessons.
She provides 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons depending on requests.
