Ian really personalised my sessions. He took into account my problems with a persistent cough and we worked on very specific strengthening exercises. Together we chose songs to work on that suited my voice but he also suggested songs to challenge me. He is very patient but also challenges and encourages.

Ian is an amazing teacher, he has a calm, gentle and positive manner. I feel he is dedicated to getting great results for me. Even when I am not sure I have the ability with my singing, he manages to coax it out from somewhere. He is diligent and thoughtful and often I feel he reflects on lessons after them and will fine tune to my needs without my even asking. He is enthusiastic and truly wants the best for his students and I can’t recommend him enough, he is wonderful.
