About Holly
Confidence‑building singing lessons for those who want to learn strong vocal technique and repertoire in a welcoming and fun environment.
About Me
I’m a Jazz vocalist graduate from Birmingham Conservatoire with sixteen years of experience helping people of all ages discover their voice. My work spans performing at major festivals, teaching in primary and secondary schools, leading music workshops for infants and carers, and supporting young people through GCSE performance exams. I also specialise in working with adults who were made to feel ashamed of their singing as children, offering a warm, encouraging space where confidence can grow and vocal ability can be rebuilt with care and clarity. My approach blends solid vocal technique within a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.
My Teaching Style:
Effective techniques that helps you understand how your voice works and how to control it better.
Building repertoire and exercises as your voice and confidence grow.
Fun, achievable goals so you feel progress from the very first session.
A warm, non‑judgemental space where mistakes are part of the process.
I draw on breath work, body awareness, vocal technique, and musicality to help you build a healthy, expressive voice at your own pace.
What Lessons Are Like
Each session is tailored to your goals and comfort level. We usually begin with gentle warm‑ups, then move into songs you enjoy. You’ll leave each lesson with clear, practical tools you can use straight away, and a growing sense of confidence in your voice.
