About Holly Redshaw
Holly Redshaw is a professional bassoonist based in London. Holly has a passion for teaching bassoon, flute, music theory and aural. She currently teaches bassoon at Dame Alice Owen’s School. In addition to this, she is a class leader with MiniMozart, leading classes for young children and their carers involving musical instruments, storytelling and active participation.
Holly teaches a selection of students privately of all ages and levels, both in their homes and at her own. Over the last 5 years Holly has worked in many music education settings; from private teaching, music outreach, coaching youth orchestras to teaching within school settings, and has taught all levels and abilities. She strongly believes in a student-led approach, tailoring lessons to suit the individual and help them reach their desired goals, or just relax and have fun. Music is a wonderful way to be creative and also challenge yourself, and she takes pride in incorporating this into her teaching.
She is registered with the DBS update service, and is happy to teach both in-person and online.
