About Henry A.

Music if a universal human experience and anyone can learn to express themselves through it. No matter the experience level or goal anyone can learn and find what they love in performing music, and I am here to support your journey.

My name is Henry and I am a primarily classically trained violinist with a focus on classical repertoire and performance practice; I am also able to teach classical and jazz violin improvisation. Students of all ages are welcome, and whether they be complete beginners to the violin, someone aiming to obtain an ABRSM qualification or just for fun, I hope my lessons will be an inspiring environment for independent creativity.

I have extensive experience performing in a variety of contexts such as orchestral, chamber, and solo performance. My orchestral ventures include the National Children’s Orchestra and the Barbican Young Orchestra, the latter performing with the late conductor Sir Colin Davis in the Barbican concert hall. I have also performed with many smaller orchestras at the RAM including a performance at the Cadogan Hall with a baroque orchestra. I've also taken part in the Musicworks chamber music project, exploring and performing numerous pieces of chamber music from a varying array of periods. I have also pursued...
