About Helen T

Helen is an experienced Cello and Piano teacher and loves passing on her passion for music to her students. She trained at Manchester University and the Royal Academy of Music, London, with Bernard Gregor Smith from the Lindsay String Quartet and Mats Lidström. Helen has a broad range of teaching experience, in schools as well as privately, and enjoys working with students from 0-85+! Helen tailors her lessons to the individual, working on Grade exams (1-8+) as well as music from a broad range of styles including film, pop and more. Helen also performs professionally and enjoys sharing performance tips with students and exploring how to create soundscapes that capture the audience's imagination.
