About Harry James Flanigan

Harry Flanigan is a classical pianist with a 1st class degree in Music performance, regularly teaching 60+ students within schools and privately. He has recorded at Abbey road studios and played for music festivals - worked as a solo pianist and in various ensembles.

Using the ABRSM exams as a framework, lessons focus on building fundamental skills in rhythm, pitch, reading notation and expression. Students are also taught the Feynman Method, the Socratic Method, Micro-practicing, and Spaced Repetition.
This allows students to learn their own material.

Students who regularly practice can therefore expect to make progress at roughly 2/3 times fast than standard.

Harry also organizes concerts for young musicians in both London and Hertfordshire, allowing students to practice the skill of performance, and build confidence.
There are also opportunities to play for masterclasses with top musicians active in the industry (for advanced players).

Lastly, great care is taken to learn about each individual students. How best to relate to them, their concentration span, the best examples to use, the rate at which to progress, their goals.
All taken into account in order to provide productive and enjoyable lessons.

Harry Flanigan is close to fully booked. Please contact for the last remaining lesson slots.
