ABOUT ME
I am a full time singer/songwriter and performer, with 10 years of professional performing in arenas, grass roots venues, and musical theatre. I'm currently a music band tutor at New Rock Generation, (NRG) Brighton and I studied at University Of Gloucester, graduating with a first in (BA) Popular Music.
Having attended Sylvia Young Theatre School and receiving years of extensive vocal and performance coaching, I teach singing techniques that make sure the voice is protected, as well as sounding great. When in the west end or on a multiple show tour, longevity of your voice is key.
LESSONS
I teach vocals and performance for all ages and all genres! Whether you're wanting to work on your professional performance or just have fun with songs you love, I can help!
I specialise in how to not only sing to the best of your ability, but to be able to carry off a killer performance at the same time. Most people know about aspects like breathing and placement, but things like movement and facial expressions (amongst many others) often get forgotten and are so important! I'm happy to either do general lessons in performance, working through chosen songs that focus on different elects of performance, or work on specific project/song/role/performance's.
LOCATION
Lessons held at rehearsal studio in Brighton.
I play guitar and piano, and can use either to accompany you depending on preference.
