Gema Lu Cai was my piano teacher for about 10 months. Her classes were particularly helpful, as they allowed me to practice the technical aspects of the piano while playing a repertoire I was interested in. She always provided me with meaningful feedback and helped me progress in my personal goals as a musician. For these reasons I fully recommend her as a tutor.

Gema is a fantastic teacher all around. She is able to carefully pick out flaws in your playing but does it in a way that motivates you to do better. She always has great repertoire recommendations but will give you free choice over the pieces you want to play if you wish. Other than that she is very reliable and easy to communicate with if you have any concerns about your tuition. Overall she is a brilliant, supportive tutor and one that I would highly recommend.
