I am an adult learner with previous experience grade 8 and above in another instrument, however have not played for 20years! Now I am learning my instrument of choice, and Freya is fantastic. From the beginning she has gone at my pace, and shown care and consideration to the practical tips and techniques required to learn the cello whilst also respecting my existing musical knowledge, and helping me refresh this. She is dedicated and professional, motivating and enthusiastic! Whilst helping you get the absolute best out of your cello playing! I feel very lucky to have her as a teacher

My son Declan has weekly cello lessons with Freya, and she is absolutely wonderful with him. She shows real dedication not only to the cello but also to her teaching. Freya is patient, kind, and always goes the extra mile to help Declan succeed. It is lovely to hear him practise and to listen to his lessons from the other room. Freya is a hard working and inately talented student currently preparing for her LTCL diploma. Her teaching experience is obviously limited at the moment - she has recently started to teach - but as she gains experience I believe she will be an excellent teacher.
