About Freddie Redding BA Cantab, DipABRSM
I have been working as a piano teacher and music tutor for over five years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge, and an ABRSM Diploma in Piano Performance.
I work with both children and adults, from beginner to advanced players. I am very flexible with the repertoire I teach and cater to a broad range of aims. I cater equally to those preparing for ABRSM/Trinity exams and to those simply looking to explore new repertoire and have fun.
I have a wide range of musical performance experience in prestigious venues such as The Barbican, The Purcell Room, and St. John Smith's Square. My musical experience includes:
- Cambridge University Instrumental Awards Scheme Holder
- Cambridge University New Music Group
- Orchestral piano and keyboards player for both the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Cambridge University Orchestra.
- Keyboard player in contemporary jazz fusion group gigging in London.
- Student at Royal College of Music (Junior Dept.).
