Having had a break from playing my cello for around 15 years, Fionnuala - Jane has made my return as an adult learner very enjoyable. I wasn't sure how online lessons would work, but it really does, it is very easy! I am so glad to have found you! You have helped me realise that memory muscle is a thing and that even with a busy life schedule as an adult, you still leave me feeling at the end of the lesson that I am better than I was the lesson before. Thank you for helping me remember the joy this instrument brings me but also the supportive, fun environment you create.

Fionnuala-Jane is a wonderfully supportive teacher. I tool up the cello after the age of 50 and self taught myself using online resources initially (I already played violin) but had reached the point where I was in danger giving up as despite having an ambition to do something with my playing I had reached a point where I felt I was struggling to progress but unfortunately there weren't any cello teachers local to me. I contacted Fionnuala-Jane and had a trial online-lesson which took away any worries I had about how online lessons could work. Lessons are relaxed, enjoyable and for me have just the right amount of challenge to keep me enthused and motivated. I'm playing music I wouldn't never have attempted on my own. I would recommend Fionnuala-Jane to anyone but especially to those who may have taken up the cello as an adult.

Fionnuala is an absolutely incredible teacher! She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging and has a wonderfully positive approach. I am thoroughly enjoying learning the cello thanks to Fionnuala as she has made lessons so much fun.
