About Fabricio Azevedo
I am a drummer and percussionist who enjoy teaching . I studied Degree of Music at University of São Paulo, Brazil and Post Degree in Brazilian Percussion at FASM ( Saint Marcelina University , SP, Brazil).Throughout my career and university, I have worked with renowned musicians and conductors. I specialise in percussion and drumming, playing various types of music including Classical, Contemporary, Brazilian, Latin music, pop and jazz. I have considerable experience in the musical education sector as a djembe, samba, drum kit and classical percussion teacher in different schools and social projects.
I teach drums at my place , students house or online. I work with different methods as Syncopation, Carmine Appice, New Breed and my own exercises, improving rhythms, coordination for drum, musical reading and repertoire. I teach Trinity Laban Rock & Pop and classical for exams and I also have the Rock School books backing tracks.

In England since 2011 I act as leader, percussionist and drummer with numerous artists and I have played at Royal Festival Hall, BBC 3, Southbank Center, Royal Albert Hall, City Hall, Ronnie Scottie's Upstairs, Koko, Hotananny, Rich Mix and many another venues. I have played in different cities in Europe, UK, Africa and Middle East.
During my career, I worked as a musician in Sao Paulo, Brazil having played at Teatro Municipal de Sao Paulo, Sala Sao Paulo, Auditorio do Masp, Auditorio Ibirapuera, Teatro do Sesi, Anfiteatro Camargo Guarnieri ,Catedral do Rio de Janeiro, Festival de Campos do Jordao in beteween others. I was part of percussion section at Filarmonia Orchestra with Paulo Maron, Guarulhos Young Man Orchestra with Emiliano Patarra, OCAM (Sao Paulo’s University Chamber Orchestra, with Gil Jardim as musical director, performing with artists as Eduardo Monteiro, Lea Freire, Aylton Escobar and Alex Kleim) ,Atibaia Young Men Symphony Orchestra and Santos Symphony Orchestra.
I worked as percussionist in Musical Orchestras in complete productions as “West Side Story” and “The King and I" at Alfa Theatre, with Jorge Takla, Luiz Gustavo Petri and Jamil Maluf.
In Sao Paulo, I carried out cultural research into Brazilian music and performed with artists and theatre groups as Brincando de Chorinho, Studio 184, Cena Teatral Group and Babado de Chita.
