I've so far found Evan to be an incredible coach. He makes a real effort to understand your circumstances and really focusses on the goals I'm trying to achieve, making an equal effort in understanding the musical and vocal styles of the person. I would describe Evan as incredibly adaptive as a result. On the coaching side Evan is very understanding, patient and very good at delivering lessons in a way that is best for me to personally understand. Beyond the coaching Evan is very kind, easy to get along with and friendly. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Evan has been a fantastic fiddle/violin teacher. His in-person lessons have been an enormous help in learning and fixing technique and progressing as a beginner fiddler!

Evan's a very chill guy who loves his music. He's very patient, and designs lessons completely around what you want to focus on or what you want to play. I've been learning violin with him, but I know he also teaches lots of other instruments. If you're wanting calm, no judgement music lessons, he's your man.

My husband has been having lessons with Evan since January, he is brilliant! He has a calm and reassuring approach, explains things in a way the student understands. My husband was an absolutely beginner with the banjo but can already play a tune! Initially I was a little concerned how the lessons would work out over zoom, but this has not been an issue at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Evan!

I have regular violin lessons and am really pleased with the progress made. Evan can play a variety of instruments, so can accompany not only on the violin but other instruments which really complements learning.

Evan's incredibly patient, and importantly just real fun to be taught by! With only a few lessons I already feel like there's been serious improvement, and I'd be more than happy to take lessons with him again.
