I’m a drummer with over 12 years of playing and performing experience, specialising in contemporary styles including rock, pop, soul, funk, R&B, and jazz. Alongside performing, I have a real passion for teaching and helping students build confidence behind the kit.

I offer 30-minute and 1-hour drum lessons, suitable for complete beginners through to more experienced players. Lessons are tailored to your individual goals, whether that’s developing solid technique, improving timing and groove, learning songs, or exploring new styles.

My teaching approach is relaxed, supportive, and structured. In lessons, we’ll work on:
* Core technique and rudiments
* Groove, feel, flow, and musicality
* Style-specific playing and vocabulary
* Effective practice methods to support progress between lessons

I teach from my dedicated teaching space in Cowdenbeath on Saturdays, and I also offer drum lessons at students’ homes in the surrounding areas. I work with a wide range of ages, from young children to working adults, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student, providing the right level of support and challenge.

My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, challenged, and excited to play. No matter your level, I’ll help you build strong foundations and develop your own musical voice on the drums.
