About Emily
*I currently have some limited availability to teach from my teaching space in Guildford on a Tuesday and Friday afternoon and evening. If this suits your schedule, please feel to contact me about lessons!
I am a professionally trained singer and working performer based in Guildford: and I teach all ages and abilities, from beginners to working professionals!
Current student success includes:
-Securing roles in international professional theatre productions
-Places at top UK and US drama schools
-Distinctions in music exams
I create a welcoming and safe environment for students to develop their vocal technique and increase their understanding of their voice; to challenge themselves to learn to sing across different styles and genres, and to grow in confidence! No matter the genre, I prioritise vocal health and creating a sustainable, reliable technique that you can rely on throughout your life as a singer.
My lessons are student centered- I always listen to your concerns and desires for your voice, and collaborate with you to achieve your vocal goals.
I teach:
- Vocal Technique (including vocal health)
-Musicality
-How to sing across a wide range of genres
-Acting through song
-Performance confidence, including how to overcome stage fright
-Music Theory
-Piano
