Elle is such a wonderful singing teacher, I can't recommend her enough! Singing can be pretty vulnerable but Elle instantly put me at ease - she's super warm and creates a really safe and supportive environment to learn in. At the same time, she's incredibly knowledgeable - she's already taught me a lot about the mechanics of singing and techniques to deploy to really improve and take on songs I'd always thought were too challenging. She's also really boosted my confidence; she's incredibly encouraging, provides targeted support and does it at a pace that works for you, so you dont feel overloaded. She also really tailors things to you, she's curious about and will work to your goals and your learning style. I also love how community-minded Elle is, organising events to bring musicians at all levels together and giving them a chance to hone their performance skills. So yes, Elle is a really special teacher and I'd highly recommend her!

Aside from being a brilliant and multi talented teacher, Elle is one of the warmest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I genuinely forget I am there for a music lesson sometimes as opposed to popping in to see a friend for tea or something! She is so welcoming, so supportive and just amazing at what she does. Ive been through quite a few singing teachers in the past few years and she's the first one with whom I've felt fully comfortable with and have actually seen progression with and look forward to lessons with. There's none of that elitism or patronising or harsh teaching style that seems to be prevalent with a lot of other teachers with Elle, just a space for creative self exploration and just nerding out about music ! She knows her stuff but has a gorgeous way of explaining complex things in a digestible, easy to understand but engaging way. To see her sing and demonstrate is inspiring and she's very humble about how obviously talented she is. If you're looking for a singer teacher Elle should be your first choice by farrrrr!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Elle. I was nervous going into the first lesson but she quickly put me at ease and identified a few key things to work on in my singing. She was then able to target these with the right exercises and tools. She explains the more technical aspects of singing clearly to help you understand your voice better, while also keeping the lessons light-hearted and fun. Most importantly, she creates a space where you feel comfortable to experiment and push past mental blocks.

Elle is exactly the singing teacher I’ve been looking for. I have been working with Elle for the best part of a year now building confidence, expanding my range and singing through vocal breaks. I have been singing for a long time with guidance from a number of singing teachers and realise it’s not a skill easily taught. Elle’s guidance however has been exceptionally helpful in realising my vocal goals.

I am so glad I picked Elle - I am definitely on the start of my singing journey, somewhere between no clue what I was really doing and a little singing practice - but I immediately noticed a difference after 1 or 2 lessons. Elle is really clear with technique and instructions, and then if one technique doesn't work, she'll work through it with you with patience and assistance - and even if that doesn't work, Elle has creative ways of helping you to learn the technique. Plus the calming ability to adjust on the go. On top of this, Elle is really relaxed and open to how the lesson will run - she wants to dig into what you find interesting and practically applicable to however you want to use your voice. A great teacher. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Elle is soo patient. My first session definitely didn’t go as I thought, was far better. Never uncomfortable to ask questions or even cry it out ahha. Elle provides such a safe space to help find my voice. I’m forever asking random things but Elles always got a solution and the understanding of what I’m trying to say. These sessions build my confidence up a lot. Her sessions are helpful and I have developed not only my singing but my esteem and confidence! Am glad we can laugh and get what need done too.
