Lizzie has been great in supporting me learning about composition. She manages to tread perfectly the delicate balance of providing positive feedback and providing constructive criticism. I have learnt a huge amount, not just about musical composition, but also about issues relating to the playing of and hence writing for different instruments.

Elizabeth's calm, relaxed, friendly approach to teaching, combined with great skill and immense knowledge, means that our girls greatly enjoy their lessons and have flourished under her guidance. She puts a huge amount of energy into teaching, reflected in the way the girls respond to her instruction. Both girls have achieved Distinctions in recent exams thanks to Elizabeth's expert tutelage. Beyond this, Elizabeth continues to inspire in our girls a deep and creative love of music.
