Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire with a Masters in classical singing, Elizabeth has established herself as a teacher of classical singing and Musical Theatre. She has over 20 years experience as a teacher and loves her job! She enters pupils for exams, if required, and has successfully taught up to diploma level and also helped many students gain places at conservatoires, universities and drama colleges. Her aim with all singers, regardless of whether they wish to sing purely for a hobby or pursue it as a career is to unlock the natural and individual beauty of the voice. She is friendly and encouraging in her approach in order to boost confidence. One of her strengths is choosing repertoire that matches a student's voice and personality in order that the student can connect with the song and deliver a committed performance. Technique starts in the first lesson and she ensures that students develop good vocal habits that enable students to sing in any style. She is also an experienced solo performer and music examiner so she can approach your musical journey from many perspectives!
