I was a bit nervous about the idea of starting singing lessons, but Elena was great at creating a space that felt comfortable and non-judgemental. It very quickly went from something I was apprehensive about to something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. She always seems very present and focused during the sessions, and is good at identifying specific areas where you can improve and then coming up with exercises and techniques to work on them. It feels like we're working together to find ways to improve in a very fun and engaging way. The first half of our session focuses on deliberate practice / exercises, and for the second half/last third we focus on a song of my choice to work on together - but there's space to organise the session how you want depending on your goals. Over 3 or 4 months, I’ve noticed a massive improvement in both my ability to sing in tune and my confidence. I'm so glad I started, and I’d definitely recommend Elena!

I used to try to learn to sing a few times in my life with different teachers, and with Elena I finally see that I develop in this area. Her methodical exercises and guidance about how to feel music unlocked in me the foundation about how I should sing. The strong balance between exercises and training the actual songs created a productive and an enjoyable experience with Elena.

Elena is a wonderfully supportive teacher for beginners and those wishing to build their skills. She is creative and flexible and, most importantly, we have so much fun together.
