About Eilidh
I am a professional touring guitarist with over 10 years of experience in both performance and music education. I am currently touring with Cat Burns, Cian Ducrot, and Becky Hill, and am proudly endorsed by Taylor Guitars, Neural DSP, Ultimate Ears Pro, and Chapman Guitars.
Throughout my career, I have performed at some of the world's most renowned venues and festivals, including The O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, O2 Academy Brixton, and AO Arena, as well as major festivals such as Glastonbury Festival, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Lollapalooza.
My television appearances include The Graham Norton Show, Later... with Jools Holland, The One Show, multiple sessions for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, and YolanDa's Band Jam.
After graduating from Leeds Conservatoire with a First-Class Honours degree, I established a successful private teaching practice and have also taught at University of Westminster and the London Guitar Academy. My teaching combines real-world professional experience with a tailored, student-focused approach, helping players of all levels develop their technique, musicianship, confidence, and creativity.
My online lessons are tailored to your individual goals, interests, and musical tastes. I teach both acoustic and electric in a range of styles. We’ll begin by discussing the music you enjoy listening to and identifying what you’d like to achieve as a guitarist. Whether you're preparing for graded exams, learning the chords to your favourite songs, improving your technique, developing your improvisation skills, or gaining a deeper understanding of harmony and fretboard knowledge, we'll create a clear and achievable plan together.
Each lesson is designed to be engaging, practical, and enjoyable. During our sessions, I use screen sharing so we can read music, study diagrams, analyse songs, and listen to examples together in real time. After every lesson, you'll receive detailed notes, resources, and any materials we've covered, ensuring you have everything you need to continue progressing between lessons. I'm also happy to answer questions and provide support outside of lesson time.
