About Edward Solomon

Teaching typically takes place at Edward's house, where the student should bring a fully functioning instrument and mouthpiece, as well as whatever materials they have been using previously.
Edward has experience in teaching all ages from 11 to 70, with students at all levels from beginner (or returning after an extended break) to advanced. Edward offers in-person and online learning, though in-person is obviously preferred to get the full benefit. Edward has experience teaching children and adults and has worked previously as a classroom teacher and instructor.
As a musician, Edward has been performing semi-professionally on the trombone for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience in a wide variety of settings, including symphony orchestra, operas and musicals, brass and wind bands, and brass and trombone ensembles.
Additionally, Edward has decades of experience arranging music for symphony orchestra, wind band, brass and trombone ensembles, and runs a symphonic brass ensemble, in which he also performs on trombone.
