Ed has been a brilliant teacher for me for coming up to a few years now. I am an adult learner having only played to ~grade 1 as a young child. Ed is a great teacher well versed in all the playing skill and musical theory required for a good teacher. But what sets Ed apart is his wonderful knowledge of a variety of music styles - and through his help I have not only been able to improve my playing but start to focus, as an adult learner, onto what my goals are and what kind of music I like to play. I hope to continue my focus on folk music for the moment and hope to achieve my goal of being able to consistently and comfortably play in folk sessions in the future.

Ed is an amazing violin teacher! My son has improved so much since starting lessons and always looks forward to them. Ed is patient, encouraging, and makes learning enjoyable. We’re so grateful for Ed's guidance and highly recommend him!
