Dimitri is a composer, artist, and music educator. He has studied music composition in the St Petersburg Conservatoire and Contemporary Arts Practice in Lancaster University. After graduation he worked as a curator for a small gallery in North Wales whilst continuing to teach music – guitar, piano, and music composition/production. Almost two decades of experience in music education. He is based in Woking, but also offers lessons online throughout the country and outside the UK too.

Teaching in guitar
Dimitri teaches guitar of all styles and levels – beginner electric, advanced classical, and everything else in between.

Dimitri teaches piano for beginners and advanced of all ages, and the piano lessons includes:

Dimitri teaches music compositon, songwriting, and music production from around 10-12 years. Lessons can include:
- Music composition techniques
- Music theory and history
- Orchestration
- Polyphony
- Music production and recording

First lesson
Dimitri always tries to understand and set goals starting from lesson one. Whether it's competing or playing for family and friends, it's important to set goals and make plans to achieve them within more or less specific amounts of time.

Beginners
Dimitri asks all starting students to bring a notebook of manuscript paper. Some musical materials may be downloaded and printed off public domain resources, others may need to be purchased.
