ReferenceSince Derek took me on he has managed to get me through Grades 7 and 8, after having given up at Grade 6 fifty years before! He is knowledgeable and personable and is able to get the balance right between identifying weaknesses and giving encouragement. I would recommend him to any student, of any age.

ReferenceDerek is able to adapt his teaching style when required and can be learner lead. If the student is struggling to grasp a concept he can vary his approach and is not rigid ie one size suits all. He also tries to vary the syllabus to maintain students interest and always tries to make the lessons fun!
