David and I form the Music Team at St Laurence Church, Upminster in Essex. He is the Director of Music, and I am the long-standing Assistant. David has brought new energy and enthusiasm to the post since his arrival 10 months ago. His knowledge of training voices is extensive and very effective.

David is a considerate and professional musician whose work in the choral and church music sector has honed his pedagogical and communicative skills. As a composer he has had notable successes in the UK and Hong-Kong. As an excellent organist, he has the keyboard skills to both read and improvise and he would also be well suited to education and outreach at any age.
