Dave is an experienced banjo player originally from Derby. He has been playing the banjo since 2007 and has played in many different locations and for several different bands. He is interested in all styles of banjo playing but is a specialist in the 'clawhammer' technique.

Dave likes to make his lessons as fun as possible and can introduce you to a wide range of different banjo styles including: Classical, Ragtime, Mountain banjo and even a bit of rock and blues. If there is a song you would love to be able to play on the banjo, Dave will do his best to write a version for you at no extra cost!

Dave worked as an English teacher between 2012 - 2023 and taught English in Russia, Spain and Thailand as well as several summer camps in the U.K.
