Music teacher and accompanist for eight years in London. I teach flute, piano, drums, composition, and beginners guitar. I have helped students achieved grade exam success in the ABRSM, TRINITY, and ROCKSCHOOL syllabus, taught adult beginners who regret never learning as a child, worked with autistic children using music as a mode of expression, and coached students on Music Theory grade 5 exams, achieving distinction and a solid foundation to further their music journey to grade 8. I started my tutoring career as the music director of my acapella singing group at my alma mater, Tsinghua University in Beijing.

I am an actor-musician trained at the University of Essex with a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre at East 15 Acting School after an English bachelor’s degree; taking sound engineering and music history courses to further my interest after my diploma. I am classically trained at flute and piano from six and hold a Licentiate Music Recital Diploma of Trinity College London. I was the principal flutist of my university's symphonic band and orchestra. I have thus been the piano accompaniment of pantomime shows, concerts, and music exams. I also hold an ABRSM grade 8 distinction in classical percussions, and have been a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist in a few theatre productions before expanding myself as a drummer.

I also hold a Secondary Music PGCE from UCL and a qualified teacher status. I now work at a secondary school teaching Music and Drama along with tutoring.
