I help you become a confident musician whether it's Pop, Rock, Classical or Jazz. I tailor lessons to you as a beginner, hobbyist, or professional. Lessons can include learning your favourite music, writing music, theory, grades. I can teach you the important technical skills on Acoustic and Electric Guitar and Bass: Picking, Tapping, Slapping, Percussion. For singers, I teach your own favourite songs in all styles of pop to classical. Together we build your voice and cover a range of singing skills, working on support, range, tone, registers, ornaments, and more. I help you build a solid technical foundation, to take on new repertoire and progress your artistry.
In a free assessment with you, we will discuss the goals or the challenges you have in your music. Together we choose a path for you to reach your potential. Students can pick from various styles of Classical, Acoustic Blues, Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Rock. I gauge the right level for you whether beginner, intermediate, or professional. My students have the option to play live locally and be recorded professionally.
Online students enjoy learning from home finding their lessons are as effective as in-person. Zoom lessons include multi-cam, professional audio, close-ups, and shared lesson materials. There is an optional student portal to help me support you in your progress. If you are a beginner, returning to music as a daytime hobby, or a professional, I look forward to guiding you in your musical exploration.
Playing music is fulfilling, it builds neural networks, resilience, and confidence. You can choose to learn creative skills, improvisation, songwriting, sight reading, performing, and production.
