About Daniel Monaghan
Daniel is an experienced musician with 10 years of teaching, performing, and recording experience as a guitar player having played in venues such as the Evertim Apollo, The Olympia Theatre and Bristol Beacon. He has an undergraduate degree in Music Performance from the Institute of Contemporary Performance and a post-graduate degree in Popular Music Research from Goldsmiths, University of London. Daniel's goal as a teacher is to give the student effective tools for building their musical vocabulary in a fun and effective way without making it feel too much like school. Each lesson is catered toward the individual. Daniel aims to teach every student the integral aspects of whichever genre or musical concept they would like to learn. He helps them develop their own unique musical voice with care and patience.
Teaching in Guitar
Daniel teaches Electric/Acoustic and bass guitar from beginner to advanced students ages 7 and up. Daniel can offer expert tuition in electric and acoustic guitar, music theory and bass guitar to students of any abilities.

First lesson
The first lesson will be spent discussing and assessing the students taste in music and current skill level so Daniel can tailor the lessons towards the individual student.
Beginners
For a beginner student the only thing that will be necessary is that the student has their own instrument.
