My son really enjoys his lessons with Kerl and he has made lots of progress whilst having fun at the same time. Kerl is very good at understanding what the student needs and how best to develop them whilst maintaining an informal and fun atmosphere. We really appreciate how he has instilled a love of music and drum playing in our son as neither myself or husband are musical!

Chris is absolutely awesome. Not only is he very flexible and able to make time each week for a very busy student but he’s also a really awesome teacher. My son looks forward to his lessons every week and is making great progress. He really has a great balance between being very chilled out and also keeping a really good pace of progress - and keeping ut fun throughout. Essentially I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. He is the perfect teacher for my apprentice teenage drummer.

Chris is a really lovely and encouraging teacher! I'm a complete newbie to the drums and can already play some fun beats after a few lessons. I walk out after every lesson feeling energised and proud of myself! He has a cool method to make reading sheet music easier. Highly, highly recommend!!

Chris has been an absolute magician! His teaching style is masterful! He is quick to identify a person's strengths and nurture them, whilst skillfully targeting weaknesses - not in a negative way - but in a way where you, as the student, feel yourself cared for and understood so that, even after a 5 minute practice exercise, you have progressed without even realizing it. WITH A MASSIVE GRIN ON YOUR FACE TOO! Chris brings out the best of his students and reminded me, after negative experiences with teachers, why I love the drums. He relit a fire in me that, because of him, will never ever be extinguished again.

I am a complete beginner and Kerl has been fab. Really welcoming and no question is too daft. He’s a really nice guy with a relaxed but very knowledgeable vibe. He is a very experienced musician with a lot to give. I’d highly recommend

Brilliant teacher, easy going chap and cuts out a lot of the confusing jargon that can come with learning a new instrument. I don’t think I’d have picked up what I have so quickly if it wasn’t for Chris’s approach. Really looking forward to progressing!

Chris is an exception drummer, singer, songwriter, and producer. He has over 25 years of experince behind a kit, rehearsing, gigging and recording with numerous bands and prjects of varying styles. He's an easy going, fun and charismatic individual, who I'd highly recommend as a teacher.
