Hi, I'm Chris. I'm currently work in Bristol bands; Snazzback (jazz 7-piece) and Zoobers (electronic trio). I am also part of busking and improvisation collective called Bristol Street Music which is rooted in jazz, electronica, latin and hip-hop.

I aim to provide a creative environment at my studio (see pictures) through improvisation and conversation to help students to discover drumming and to uncover their own voice. Music stems from joy and open mindedness so sharing this is a priority for me in my lessons.

At my studio I have two kits set up which is great for copycat drumming and for having the direct feedback in the lesson. I also have a recording setup here so I will often record student's playing at milestone marks to give a document of their development.
