Chris Sellers is a dedicated bass teacher with a passion for guiding students on their musical journey. Equipped with over a decade of teaching experience, and his versatile background spanning jazz, heavy metal, pop, and electronic music, he has a well-rounded perspective allowing him to offer tailored instruction in bass guitar or double bass in any style according to a student’s preference. Chris believes in instilling a strong foundation in music theory while nurturing students' individual interests and fostering a love for the music that made them want to pick up a bass in the first place. Whether just starting out, or looking to refine a specific set of skills, Chris is committed to helping students reach their full potential as a musician.

With a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Music from Leeds Conservatoire and a Master's in Electronic and Computer Music from the University of Leeds, Chris brings over a decade of experience as a professional musician to his teaching. Chris has had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. His teaching journey began during his time at Leeds Conservatoire. Since then, Chris has worked as a private music tutor, offering personalised lessons in bass guitar and double bass to students of all ages and abilities. Chris's approach is focused on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and develop their musical abilities. He is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential, whether they're just starting their musical journey or looking to refine their skills.
