About Charlotte Holmes
Charlotte Holmes is an accomplished young flautist and teacher currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music. Her creative and adaptive teaching style helps students to thrive and enjoy musical learning. Charlotte has over 5 years of experience teaching Flute and piccolo as well as experience running musical workshops designed for children and the elderly as volunteer work. She has a 100% pass rate for students who have sat ABRSM/trinity board exams.
I have always had inspirational teachers who pushed me and helped me to achieve the best I possibly could. It is a gift to be able to teach music and something I enjoy sharing with my students. Flute teaching is a huge responsibility, I aim to set each student up with appropriate techniques and skills to allow them to excel as flautists. Seeing students smile and laugh in lessons as we make music together is hugely rewarding.
Learning an instrument should be a special and positive journey. I work with students of all ages and abilities planning lessons unique to them. This helps them get the best out of their learning. I am passionate about encouraging students to explore the joys of learning an instrument and cover a wide range of repertoire. I strive to create a calm and nurturing environment where each pupil feels comfortable taking risks, exploring, and enjoying their inner musicality.
