I am a beginner to playing the trumpet and haven’t played an instrument since a child. Charlie was quick to respond to my initial contact which is great as I wanted to start learning quickly. Charlie is a professional teacher and also easy going and patient when I ask lots of questions about the trumpet and music theory. He is passionate and knowledgable about music and this shows when teaching me. He teaches the basics and adapts the theory and music to the kind of style of music I am interested in. But we also look at different styles to practise anything I need to improve on. I really enjoy the lessons and Charlie is very encouraging when I feel I haven’t played very well. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie to anyone who is looking to start playing an instrument,
