In your 1 to 1 lessons with Cerys you will partake in physical and vocal exercises focusing on support, breath control, vocal technique and diction. Cerys provides lessons in a range of genres including classical, pop, jazz and musical theatre. As well as an elevated understanding of music theory, vocal technique and performance skill you will gain confidence and have fun!
Highly acclaimed soprano Cerys MacAllister is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, where she achieved an MA in vocal performance with distinction. Her musical journey began with a bachelor's degree in Music Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, during which she passionately combined her studies with teaching both in schools and through private instruction. With over 8 years of teaching experience in both singing and piano, Cerys has been instrumental in guiding students through the music syllabus, enabling them to excel in their grade examinations. While specialising in classical singing, she also boasts a versatile background in teaching and performing various genres, including jazz, musical theatre, Irish traditional, folk and pop.
