Catherine has taught piano, cello & music theory for 15+ years and over 100 students individually ranging in age from as young as 4 to adults. She creates a balanced lesson covering every aspect of the instrument playing including technique, sight-reading, aural, musical expression and posture. She especially enjoys working with young children at the start of their musical journey, helping them build a strong foundation while making learning engaging and rewarding.

Many of her students work towards digital and face-to-face grade exams. She is experienced in successfully guiding them from beginning to the end.

Catherine regularly organise student concerts so that they learn to enjoy performing and develop stage skills.

Lessons take place at Catherine's home studio in South Hampstead, and at the student's within a reasonable distance and surrounding areas in Camden. Please contact Catherine to find out if lessons at your home are possible.
